Read My Plate ("the app") and this website are published by Esther Michele Kazir ("we", "us"). You can reach us at LIVINGOODFOREVER@GMAIL.COM.
This policy covers the Read My Plate iOS application and the pages published on this domain. It describes what happens to information when you use them, in the plainest terms we can write.
What we collect
Nothing.
We do not collect personal data. We have no user accounts, no sign-up, no login, no email list, no user database and no backend server that the app talks to. We cannot identify you, because nothing about you ever reaches us.
Specifically, and to be unambiguous about it, the app does not collect, receive, transmit or store:
- Your name, email address, telephone number or postal address.
- Your photographs, or anything derived from them.
- Your answers about blood type, food preferences or anything else you enter into the profile.
- Your reading history, scores or trends.
- Your location, contacts, calendar, health data or device identifiers.
- Usage analytics, crash reports, event tracking, session recordings or heat maps.
- Advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.
Read My Plate's App Store privacy entry is "Data Not Collected". Every category is answered no, because the app has no mechanism by which data could be sent to us.
What stays on your device
The app does keep information, but it keeps it on your phone, in your browser's local storage inside the app. It is readable only by the app, only on that device. It is not synced, not backed up to us, and not visible to us.

That is the complete list. There is nothing else.
Because this storage belongs to the app on that one device, deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy for us to hold, hand over, sell, lose, or be compelled to produce, because we never had one.
Photographs and the camera
The app asks for two permissions from iOS:
- Camera — so you can photograph a meal in front of you.
- Photo library — so you can choose a meal you already photographed.
Both are used only at the moment you take or choose a picture, and only for the reading you are doing right then. The image is held in the app's memory while you tag it and while the reading is produced, and it is discarded when you leave that reading.
If — and only if — you press Save, a reduced thumbnail of that image (240 pixels on its longest side) is written to your device's local storage so that the reading appears in your history. The original full-size photograph is never stored by the app and never uploaded.
You can refuse either permission. The app keeps working; you simply use the other route in.
This version of Read My Plate identifies food by having you tag it by touch. There is no automatic recognition, and therefore no image is ever sent off the device for any purpose. If a future version introduces automatic recognition that requires sending an image to a processing service, this policy and the claims on this site will be updated on the same day that version is released — never afterwards — and the app will say so clearly before any image is sent.
This website
These pages are static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics, embed no tracking pixel, and contain no advertising. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you were not asked to.
Two ordinary technical exceptions apply, and we would rather name them than leave them unsaid:
- Our host. These pages are served by a static hosting provider, which — like every web server in the world — processes the IP address and browser user-agent of each request in order to deliver the page and to keep the service running and secure. We do not use those server logs to build any profile of you, and we do not link them to anything.
- Web fonts. The typefaces on these pages are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as a consequence. Nothing about you or your readings is included in that request.
The app itself, running on your phone, makes no such requests. It bundles everything it needs.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, share, trade, license, disclose or transfer personal data to anyone, for any purpose, ever — because we hold none. There is no data broker relationship, no advertising partner and no analytics vendor.
The only companies involved at all are the ones named above: our static hosting provider, which serves these pages, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces. Apple distributes the app through the App Store under its own privacy policy, and any purchase you might make is handled entirely by Apple — we never see a payment card, a billing address or a name.
If we were ever served a lawful demand for your information, we would have nothing to give.
Your control and your rights
The information is on your device, so the control is yours and it is immediate. You do not need to ask us, and there is no request form, because there is no request we could usefully process.
- To see everything held: it is all visible in the app — your profile screen and your history screen show the complete contents.
- To erase everything: use the erase control in the app's profile screen. It removes the profile, the history and the settings at once, permanently. Deleting the app does the same.
- To correct anything: edit your profile in the app, or delete the reading.
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, Israel's Protection of Privacy Law or comparable legislation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, those rights are satisfied by the controls above. We cannot act on such a request ourselves, because we cannot identify you and hold no record of you. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA.
Children
Read My Plate is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, is not designed for them, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone of any age — including children — because we do not collect information at all.
If this changes
If this policy changes, the version number and the date at the top of this page change with it, and the current text always appears here. A change that makes the app send anything off your device would be a material change: it would be stated plainly at the top of this page and inside the app, on the day it takes effect.
We will not quietly weaken a promise made on this page.
